McKenna's solar blanket tips:

1. Store the solar blanket in shade and cover it with a protective sheet when not in use.
   
2. Handle with care. Excessive pulling will cause tears. Use a mid-grip pull rope to help remove from pool if only one set of hands are available.
3. Do not shock or oxidize your pool with the solar blanket on pool.
4. Use the solar blanket primarily in the evening when heat is most likely to be lost due to evaporation.
5. Place the solar blanket on the pool so that the bubbles are facing down in contact with the water.
6. Prevent algae blooms by keeping the solar blanket free of debris (dirt, leaves, bird droppings)
7. Measure your pool prior to ordering a solar blanket to ensure fit.

Solar blanket warranties cover defects in workmanship such as seam separations. They do not cover wear and tear issues related to physical or chemical damage.
